Theres more to swapping it over than just changing motors. You should swap the engine harness over to the Motronic 1.1 or 1.3 that the 325i used. This way you can take full advantage of that motor you're swapping in.

Hit up Austin, he should have most of the parts you need to swap over. Not sure if any locals will have the parts sitting around.

ECU and everything? Is the c101 plug on the car round like the one from the motor?

Ive put clutches on without an alignment tool. Just have to move very slowly and I tilted the motor on its side. Not ideal, but it worked. Not sure how good you could do it with the motor sitting normally.

Is that the biggest thing holding you back right now?

No the engine and tranny is in, i picked up the clutch allignment tool from a shop. Just figuring out the fuel lines, cooling and harness right now. Basically hooking everything up before starting her.

The cooling system is different from the M20B27 early to the M20B25 late...

Whats your plan here? Seems like you arent quite the newb we're used to dealing with, so Im going to stop assuming you dont know sh!t

Tell Abdulla Alex Rengifo says hi.

There are 3 hard lines from the front of the car to the back.

Follow the rubber hose from your fuel filter.

This attaches to your feed line on the fuel rail.

The feed line has a spot directly on the fuel rail.

The fuel return line attaches to your fuel pressure regulator.

And the charcoal canister is the third line.

                      I can’t help identify those 2

Why on earth would you delete the charcoal canister? do you want fuel fumes in your engine bay? leave it in:)
