    Flywheel question

I have a low mile flywheel from my1984 528E, It is pictured on top. It is lighter and assuming it is a single mass. The bottom is from a unknown 325I, it is heavier but still seems to be single mass? Either could be used in my 89 325I W/5 Speed Swap, correct? I would prefer the lighter.

I'd use the one with the better ring gear ;)

However, I'd also measure- there are different depth
bellhousings, and I'd crassly assume that there might
be different depth flywheels, as well. I'm not 100% clear
on the sensor pegs on an eta flywheel, but make sure they
    don't hit the bellhousing...

Also, check the crank bolt length- there should be a hardened spacer
between the bolt heads and the flywheel. And there may be a difference in flywheel thickness.

Things that have caught me out,

now, sometimes I just mess with people. It's more entertaining that way. george graves

Whichever you end up using, get it re-surfaced. Both those look rough.

It may be the optics but the bolt patterns look different ?

Bolt pattern is the same, I checked using the hardened spacer.
