Can't wait to see them all painted. How much did the center get machined deeper than the original surface with the all the writing on it ? This is stirring up some very interesting ideas in my head...

LJ851 not sure of specific measurement but it was just enought to take away the notched ring that the cap locks on to

everyone, i spoke to the shop a little while ago and mentioned the interest on this forum and another forum. he said he wants to finish mine first then talk about other potential jobs. they are really honest and helpful and take pride in their work so i'll have to hold off for now...but my wheels should be done this week so i could get the info to everyone within the week:)
Can't wait to find out! They look amazing

They are going to paint the factory gloss silver that i requested after sanding down all the milling lines on the centers of the wheels.

That must be a cheap cell phone pic - cause that wheel looks REALLY out of round. ;)

It warped a little when they welded it, thats what wheel weights are for.

but i would not have machined off the tabs for the covers just in case you decide you wanna run them.

what does the back look like?

In for the pics of the back side. Looks really clean.
And still wondering about the thickness of the center bore.
