    WTB: Rust Free

I am in Green Bay Wisconsin but prefer to buy a E30 from outside the rust belt here is my criteria. Does this sound reasonable? I have cash in hand and am ready to buy.

    -- Rust Free
    -- No major mechanical issues
    -- < 200K on the Odometer
-- I am trying to stay in the ballpark of $5K
-- I am willing to fly out to pick up or ship the car to WI
-- Need to have PPI before coming to see car (this spooks some sellers)
-- No Convertibles (Wisconsin is Cold)
    -- No ETA
    -- Prefer 318i(s) or 325i(s)
-- Presentable Paint, paint that looks good from 6 feet
-- Auto is ok, but prefer Manual

Since you asked, E30's like that exist, but I don't think for around 5k, especially with a 'clean' PPI.

TBH, a PPI on a 5k E30 is going to be a decently long list. All ~5k E30's around me would be called heaps back in 2008. if you do find a seller willing to do that, expect bad news in most all cases.
    My previous build (currently E30-less)

I am not expecting a clean PPI, I just want to know what I am getting into. For example if one of the cylinders has bad compression.

        Seriously. Good luck for 5k.

Here you go! Very nice car for the money. New tires, brakes and rotors, exhaust, motor rebuilt 8k miles ago. Car isn't perfect, but still in great condition considering the age!
