Hey, I've got a few questions:

E36 M3 caliper would just require a different bracket, yes?

Do you know if you can retain ABS with this setup? Does the ABS ring on the e36 hub end up close enough to the e30 sensor?

e36 m3's can fit most all 16" wheels.

          Might be interested in this.

Yes, M3 caliper would need a different bracket.
And regarding the ABS, if you create a spacer of some-kind i think you could make it work. But the question is - is the E36 ABS ring the same as E30?

I understand! But I'll put it like this. I've yet to find a 16" wheel that doesn't fit.

So - as far as your adapter....I understand the caliper adapter. But I don't understand how your hub adapter works. I'm not asking for measurements or anything. Just mechanically, what are we dealing with?

Well i guess il update the table then, thank you :)

The hub adapter is basically a spacer, since the E36/46 hub is bigger in diameter - it will not fit on the spindle as it should, so the hub adapter takes care of that and makes it slide on the spindle, then you just tighten it on the other side like you would during a normal hub replacement job. It just changes the diameter of your spindle to be like the E36/46 one. It also pushes the hub a little further so the caliper bracket would fit.

                Max.

There are installed pictures, in the first post in the FAQ section, theres a link to a build thread :)

Thanks for answering my questions. Just picked up a full set of e36 M3 calipers to mess with.

PM me a price for just the hub adapters without the brake caliper brackets? Unless of course you already have a set of alternate brackets for M3 calipers in the works.

Yes, please make an adapter for e36 m3 set up.

Also, that washer/bolt seem kindsa shady. Why not make the nut with a cotter pin? Just a thought.

We don't have any M3 caliper brackets, mostly because we don't really get any M3's here :)
But we do have lots of 330's and it works good enough too :)
I post back later how much the hub adapters cost without the caliper bracket.

That would be really hard, because we don't get them here :)
The washer/bolt is reverse threaded, and it does hold good enough. The reason for not using the cotter pin is because the whole hub is moved a little to the outside, there is no space left to attach the pin.

Got the answer about the price of hub adaoters only, without the caliper bracket - it is 110$ + Shipping.
