I recently replaced my e30s stock CAB for Garagistic offset 80A polyurethane CAB. I didnt have the special tool need for removal but here’s what worked for me...
* Works with M3 offset & non-offset CAB *
First remove the (2) bolts holding the CAB
Lower control arm for access
Cutout the center sleeve from the CAB using a 2” holesaw without the center drill bit portion
$13
* My drill wanted to overheated half way through the rubber with the holesaw because of the friction. So pause briefly halfway
You’ll be left with something like this...
Next using a Autozone “Pitman tie rod pulled” loaner remove the leftover center sleeve covered in rubber from the CAB
$13
Last thing to do before new CAB instal is to remove the leftover actual aluminum CAB housing off the “lollipop” by cutting it
You can either use Garagistics method
OR
Using a vice make a makeshift press pushing it out as far as possible. Then crush the exposed sleeve with the vice from four sides till it gives and comes out
Finally, instal you new CAB using the vice. Make sure to line-up markings and install correctly
