    Spec E30 car

I am trying to not make this sound like a for sale ad. But this sub-formum looks better than the classifieds. Medical issues require I sell my Spec E30 car, trailer, and considerable spares. If interested contact me via PM or email to jimlevie3@gmail.com
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Jim, thanks for being such a great E30 resource over the years! Sorry to hear you're selling the racecar. I hope this isn't good bye, but if it is, cheers.

I didn't want to sell the car, but medical problems forced the issue. Last summer I had a couple of minor seizures that were we able to control with meds and fixing a problem that was causing well below normal hemoglobin. I've not had any since, but anti-seizure meds are a firm no-no as far as renewing my race license (due in Nov). But that became a moot point when I fell off a roof (~15') and did a fair bit of damage to my back. I now sport a 19cm articulated metal appliance that runs from just below my shoulder blades to my hips. I guess I lucked out in that there was no paralysis, but I have had to learn to walk all over again. I can now walk short distances (6-8'), but it will likely be months before I'll have decent mobility.

                    The car has been sold!

Good luck, Jim. I had a blast racing with you at Road Atlanta a few years back. I have a vivid memory of you passing me going into 10a!

Happy to see that you got the car sold so quickly. You have been a tremendous help to me over the past couple of years answering questions I posed to you. I am wishing you a speedy, and complete, recovery!
