Subscribed. I am extremely tempted to pick up a set of these for when I inevitably go crazy with my car. Very curious how much fender/wheel well work is required.

I did a test fit with spacers and my DTM flares. Seems like it will work with 25mm up front and 20mm in the rear with my typical alignment specs. I'm tubing the front of the car right now, so it will be a little while before I have tires on them

Just curious, do you have early or late model rear arches? Although I doubt it makes much difference when you are talking this wide of a wheel/tire combo.

My experience with having an over-powered track E30 (yes 300+ hp is over-powered) is that the suspension geometry starts limiting you at those kind of speeds.
There comes a certain point where even more power and bigger tires aren't going to help you go around turns like an E46/E9x GT3/Cayman can...
This is a cool project for the experience no doubt, but i would start thinking about how much deflection in that chassis is going to negate the amount of increased grip with those size R comps.
I have solid mounted everything with a fully caged car and i can feel plenty of flex with my 235/40R17 Proxe RR's.

Btw I really like your front air dam!

                SUP. Almost there.

Hoping to make these fit for buttonwillow next weekend. 225 width street tires are so limiting

They will be going on this car. Just got another pair of spacers, possibly by Friday I can have all 4 wheels mounted and put it on the floor. Still haven't done a test drive yet, I fear rubbing in the rear

Going to have to work on pulling the front fenders, probably will have to dial in a couple more degrees of camber. This is taking longer than expected. I'm sure someone else will have these mounted with flares soon

Don't sacrifice correct camber settings just to fit the tires
Drive it hard. Maintain it well.
