    FS: 1990 318i RHD Wagon - S52 Turbo (Minneapolis, MN) $12,000

I'm listing my 1990 Lagunagrun 318 touring because of a few reasons, but mainly I've ruined it. I've added WAY too much bloody power to this car, and as such I am scared of it and no longer drive it. Secondly, I bought a roundie E10 and that's now taking all my blood, sweat, tears and spare money.

11 other cars need attention, this isn't getting used so it's off to a new home hopefully.

    Some details:
Originally sold in Wales, I imported it in 2015. Was an M40/G240 car at that point. I swapped over the winter of 2017 my 1997 S52B32 with a CES cut ring head gasket and .140 copper spacer (8.5:1CR) in to it with a ZF S5D 310Z transmission out of an E46 328i, drive shaft from an E36 M3 stapled together with an E30 CSB. all the standard 24v stuff you'll find in this car. it has a treehouse harness adapter so nothing was cut electronically on the car and it can be reverted if you so choose.

Lagunagrun on the outside, tan non sport cloth on the inside. slick top. headliner sags as all wagos seem to. seats are in immaculate shape, as is the carpet and the door panels. interior is no frills, but very clean. even the original cargo cover in the back is there.

driveline, as I said 1997 M3 S52, 8.5:1 CR with the CES hardware. ARP2000s. stock bottom end. Headwerks stage 1 head. UUC segmented carbon kevlar clutch good for hideous amounts more power than it's pushing. tried and true ZF 5 speed box. 545i shift selector. 2.93 clutch medium case diff swapped in and working well. brakes are stock. rack is stock (does have power steering retained).

the turbo setup is a lot of garage fab for exhaust which is 2.5 and 3" (RHD makes 3" tough), v bands where I could. cold side is 3". huge intercooler. front needs to be cut up to get more air flow. she gets toasty.. Miller WARchip OBD1 tuned (comes with all files, cables AND the laptop needed to tune it). UEGO wide band, boost gauge. CX racing ball bearing To4E turbo Moroso catch can. it runs 8PSI right now (had it at 12, very scary). 60lb seimens injectors, WAR maf, mishimoto boot. really fresh engine. No I haven't taken it to the dyno, but even on 8PSI it vomits all over my S54 powered E30 M3 in terms of performance.

    other shenans:
-high beams are no more. charge pipes too big
-has yellow fogs, they aren't hooked up, car originally had no fogs
-original UK radio is old, works but the FM range is way off for US stations. CD player woop woop
-TRM C1 wheels with two sets of Dunlop Direzza Z1 starspecs in good shape. chumpcar take offs.
    -clearcoat peeling on hood
-steering wheel isn't on the left side

whatever else, not sure. ask questions. clean and clear MN title, no lien or anything. shoot me a text if you have questions!

What’s the rust situation on the car? Apologize if I missed it. Thanks!

tow hook in the back is meh. super solid otherwise.

for a late model, it's definitely in top 10% of examples I've owned for cleanliness.

frankly, at this price, it could be damn near swiss cheese and it wouldn't matter though :p

Bahaha, thanks! I still can't believe they let me have it, but it was the year of the brexit, and shockingly relevant for a pre-EU vehicle!

it really is. 8psi you have some time to think and shift, but at 12 it was just a really sketchy blur. haha

It doesn't really matter, it's basically a flat fee (~$5000) to get a grey market touring certified and tested in CA.
