      ..Lee

I bet alot of track guys wont see this product here.....maybe you could post a "heads up" in the track forum.

anyhew....here is my e 30 pedal....custom fabbed...and more cheese($$) than yours....I like your 's better. We fabbed mine off the "RD" style.

I love it on the track!!!!!!

I love sitting down and just driving!

Cool. I want one. I was just researching these the other day.

How strong is it at the top bend? If I really lay into it it won't bend, right?

Does it sit flush with the clutch pedal?

Do you make (or can you make) a passenger side one?

Don't worry, it is very strong.

It doesn't come flush with the pedals, it should be lower for most people.

Usually passengers don't need one as the seat can be advanced enough. Passengers don't have to use the pedals anyway. So just push the seat forward.

Lee - I realize it is track only, & is intended to mount direct to metal. Can it be mounted on top of carpet in an E30 (like the M-Tech dead pedal), or would you need to cut holes in the carpet as in post #3?

Just seeing if there is any option.

if you were really carefull, you could probably mount them to the floor and wheel house using nutzerts.
just mark where you want to put them in.

first mark and drill where you are going to bolt them.

then take a soldering iron and melt through the carpet in the spot where you are bolting. (this will keep the carpet from fraying in that spot. next install the nutzerts.

                  last bolt it in.

sorry to thread jack a little Lee, just tryng to help out. nice work again too.

                    Hi Jack.

I guess that BMW's own M technic dead pedal pretty well solved the problem related to the thick carpet and mushy foam foot rest. I have not yet tried to install my dead peal on a carpeted e30. I guess you could make two cuts in the carpet, but honestly don't have hands on experience. Maybe if anyone could lend me an original $300 M technic foot rest, I could turn it into a $75 stainless steel interpretation, most likely looking better than the original....

                          Proper weight distribution.

                          Obviously.

No. No. It's because I was giving rides to midgets and I hit the end of the seat adjustment...
