m60 swap- auto/manuel harness

So I've found differing opinions about weather or not I can use the automatic car engine harness with a manual trans. I imagine some stuff could be eliminated (trimming the fat) and a manuel chip installed? I bought a e34 540ia as a donor and am parting it out. I have someone looking to buy the engine harness but I dont want to sell it if I can use it.

Depending on reflash.


You can use the ECU as it is, as long as you've the key-chip, key-ring and EWS box from the same car.
