If you can do them in 3" to fit the M30 AFM definitely count me in for two in the first style.

Well, whatever I have to fanagle around to make one of these work, I will! I've been wanting one of these for a long time, the OEM boots suck.

updated first post. I'm considering deleteing the extra vacum line for the booster and running one for the 87 eta or changing my ICV and running the 89+. What ever gets to 20 quickest.

Sounds good, keep us posted. That would be easy to make work with my car.

Why? Not trying to be a douche, I just don't see why these are necessary. My OEM boot is fine and I paid like $5-10 for it new off ebay. *shrug*

I'm on my second boot and i have only had the car for a few years. They dry and crack easily and cause all sorts of vacum leaks that most people don't notice until they actually remove the boot. Plus i you go turbo a new boot last a couple months max if your over 8 psi. Plus having a smooth surface should reduce turbulance.

all true except the last bit. I was testing airboxes/pressure drops - there's no difference at all with the stock intake boot on or off (this means completely open throttle). the stock airbox however was pretty restrictive for me.

that said, I think I want one.. let met check to see what style I have.
