Whats happened to you since joining r3v

So today is my birthday and I got to thinking today of what all has happened in the past few years of my life. Then I thought about the age group most of the guys on here were when I joined. A lot changes between the ages of mid 20s to 30s. I bet there is some prettty inspiring stuff you all have done. Lets hear it.

Since joining I have :
Married
Watched almost all my mates get married and start families
Had 2 children
Went from having a ton of personal time to not being able to golf but maybee 5 times a year( no complaints though)
Bought a house
Got a dog
Changed careers
Spent more $$$ than I ever imagined on childcare and diapers ha ha
Sold and acquired a few e30s
Finished up my bs degree
Thats about it for major milestones..... what about everyone else?

Shit I joined in 2008, cant believe I've been on this bored since then, I've gone through several other forums, e46fanatics, vortex, R1 forums etc, but R3v always keeps me interested, lol and I haven't even owned an e30 in over 6 years. Since then I've graduated college, moved to the other side of the country, bought, built and sold multiple motorcycles, several BMWs, trucks etc

this is a very loaded question, too much has happened :nice:

-Got an electric car, an i3, to daily (which I said I never would if you asked me 4 years ago)
-Lost 2 dogs but gained another
-Made some good friends through r3v and the e30 community
-Traveled to Iceland, Mexico, and Europe

Jobwise, we bought a completely different business, lots of good days and some bad, but more good though. Really enjoying it, it's way better than the previous business.

Bought myself an E46 330i Individual, last week.

About to be 28 and can't believe how much I've changed as a person. How my views have changed. Priorities.

Wow, this really puts into perspective how much shit has happened in the last 6.5 years since I've been on this website. Not going to put in chronological order but here's what's happened to me:

-Still have my E30, finally turbo'd it over 2 years ago and still running strong.
-Got married
-Had 2 kids
-Lost one of my dogs, had her and her brother since they were puppies.
-Finally got a job that appreciates my efforts and pays well.
-Got back into watching hockey after being disinterested for a few years for whatever unknown reason
-Moved around due to ridiculous rises in rent in this area
-Realizing that 30 is around the corner for me and recently got back into shape since I left the military.

In chronological order:

-Sold E34 M5, bought my '86 ES the next day (First E30)
-Sold off my two project mk1 VWs, thought I was done with VWs
-Bought my current '84 "318," sold the ES a month later
-Bought a 77 Rabbit to daily while I was building the 24v
-Went to Europe and drove the Ring (in a track prepped VW Polo)
-Moved from Seattle to Orange County, left the "318" for the shop to finish
-Brought the Rabbit to SoCal and then sold it to a guy in Florida who totalled it shortly after
-Brought the "318" down and daily drove it for a year and a half putting 36k miles on it
-Moved again from Orange County to Los Angeles for a new job, then got fired on day3
-Got a new job that I pretty much love and still work at today
-Got engaged
-Bought a new daily, MB C350
-Got married
-Now turning the "318" into a weekend / track car

- moved from Portland to Texas and then from Texas to Idaho.
- I sold my first e30.
- went through 3 different jobs.
- bought another e30.
- bought and sold an S13 and vr6 GLX.
- started the 24v swap.
- got it running last week.
- had a great 18th birthday.

-coolest thing I've done to an e30 was a 5speed swap (Current car will get some kind of massive engine upgrade)
-graduated college
-worked as a auto tech for 6 months
-got a job in my field of study
-got promoted twice
-moved from Philly, to home, to a friend's couch, to jersey city, to hoboken
-got broken up with by the girl I thought I wanted to marry (pretty happy about it now)
-started an interracial relationship that my parents don't approve of
-went to Europe, Maine, and Austin in less than a month (more flights in one month than my entire life previously)
-about to change clients again
