    CX Racing LS Swap Kit

So who is going to be the first to order one here? I like the look of the exhaust I may adapt it to my sikky headers if it is good quality.

That's a terrifying mount arm design. It'll probably fatigue and crack the crossmember mount pads in the first 100 miles.

        Explain your reasoning?

I don't see an issue. If you put a V8 in your E30 and don't substantially reinforce the known failure point that is the crossmember engine mount, you don't deserve an E30.

Mount arms that put the mount on the crossmember essentially pull up and push down on the mount pad on the crossmember. Even they have problems at high power levels over time.

Those mount arms, since they pivot at the engine, will put a TORQUE on the mount pad on the crossmember. Because of the aspect ratio of the arm and the fact that the loads at the tip of the arm are higher per ftlb of driveshaft torque because the pivots are closer to the crank centerline, that torque will significantly exceed the push/pull of conventional mount arms.

IOW, it'll fatigue the mount pads and tear them off the crossmember quickly.
