Harness Overload? High Beam + Low Beam

I came across an old thread that states you can just solder a wire between these two fuses in order to keep your low beams on when you turn your high beams on with euro smiley headlights.

My question is whether this will overload the wiring anywhere?

The answer is no - because you’re just triggering the relay if you’ve wired it correctly.

Also, soldering is not necessary. If you stuff a wire in the sockets and press the relay in, that’ll work just fine.

Thanks! Wanted to make sure before I go and burn my car to the ground with an electrical fire ;)

I can't remember for certain, but I swear there's a way to make the lows stay on with the highs by only modding one relay.

Edit: This is more likely a memory from independent fogs actually.

Mine has been like that for like 15 years. lol. it won't hurt anything.

I just stuffed a wire in the sockets though, I didn't solder anything.

Good info and pics in these threads. I was getting ready to do this when I install my new lights and wire up the city lights as well.

              And independent fogs too.
