Touring rear side window removal (fixed window)

So I'm stumped as to how these side windows come out. I'm talking about the
fixed side window between the C and D pillars on an E30 wagon.

I have a little water leak I have attempted to fix twice now with little success, it would be awesome to pull the window out to have a proper look, but I have no idea how it is held in there. I can lever a gap at the back of the window (where the leak is) but the front of the window is tight. I can't seem to get the outer
    C pillar trim off.

Any touring experts on the forum? As there were so few made finding info on touring only issues is hard....

Hope you can help me sort this water leak. Its stopping me from doing fun things on teh car like suspension and LSD... I promised myself I won't do any of that until all the shitty issues like this are sorted.

why not take it to a window repair place/glass shop? they will have the proper tools.

you might want to buy a new gasket first and take it with you.

      Try this:

      1. Post your question in the Touring section here, in case any r3vers with Tourings don't follow this section.

      2. Post your question at e30owners.com. It's UK based and I've gotten some good Touring info there.

Also, please post back here when you find the answer. I have stubborn leaks in the rear wells of my Touring and may need to remove that glass also.

      Thanks, Cory
