      if i remember correctly the e36 multi throttle intake wont fit on a us engine.... you nned to get a bdilas(bmpd) intake to get multi throttles on a us m/s50/2

          o, ok. i thought all (even us) s50's came with multithrottle.
          actually i cant think of an M motor without them. Anyone know which ones did and which ones didnt?

            the 3.0 and 3.2s used in all E36 M3s, M Coupe, and M Roadsters sold in the US until what, 2001 or 2002, i forgot which

              stu..what are you up to??? do i sense custom mchenry multithrottle intake???

              also if my memory serves me every m engine except the us s50 and s52 had multithrottles as well as solid lifters...

                the engines i listed had the single throttle body system, thats what I meant....

                    hmm..... E30 M3, early M5, middle M5 (not sure on), Late M5 yeah......new M3, M1, yep.....just about it. They all had 6 ( or 4 for the E30) throttle bodies.

                    It just goes to show the S50/S52 were stupid stroked M50, and not any feats of automotive engineering. :? (///Marketing)

                    j/k, US E36 M motors are still good......but not great by any means. (Unless you got Pete McHenry giving 'em a magical touch!) :D

                        '01 M3's had the S54 and '02 M Roadsters had the S54 (6-throttle intake, 333hp and 315hp, respectively)
