you SHOULD shift at or before 6500 and he SHOULD shift at or before 6000.
and you seriously raced a v6 mustang with 20 inch rims? that's not even worth $100 that's just embarrassingsigpicOriginally posted by e30hijinksI move faster than "the speed of light." I'm always connected to my Blackberry and am ready to purchase at a moment's notice. I do not play games

What's all this hate for? No doubt he beat a V6 Mustang..
Relatively low miles on a rebuilt engine, chipped, more free-flowing exhaust, and ~200 lbs less than stock weight, and you all don't think he can shave close to ~1.5 seconds off an estimated stock time?
As for beating the V8 Stang, I'm not sure, but:
"Report for 1997 Ford Mustang GT
Obtained from C&D August, 1997
0-60: 6.6 Transmission: Manual
1/4 Mile: 15.1
1/4 Speed: 92"
1/4 mile time is only .4 less than that of the '87 325is when it was stock, so is it really all that hard to believe? Not to mention the V8 was said to have 210k on it.
Just playing devil's advocate, enjoy hating R3v :)Different strokes for different folks.
