    A/C fitting sizes

Does anyone know what fitting sizes bmw used for their AC hoses?
I'm talking about the oring fittings that join each part of the system, not the high/low pressure ports.

Are they metric or inch standard sizes?

I'm trying to build custom routed AC hoses but I have no idea what fittings or hose sizes to buy.

I know almost all hydraulic oring fittings used worldwide are inch standard, not sure if AC is the same way.

They are metric and the fittings are hard to find. When I refurbed the 2 hoses above the glove box they cut the steel pipe, brazed in new crimp fittings and kept the original ends. Any decent hydraulic shop should be able to help.

I'm thinking about doing this. I'll just get inch standard hose and beadlock fittings and weld them to the old ones

True, I found some fittings that are designed to be brazed on. I'd rather tig weld where I can cause I have more experience with that
