Just to pass on a little tip for the 404 DME. If you'd like to install a cheap/easy anti-theft switch, simply interrupt pin 56 on the DME with a simple SPST (single pole, single throw) switch. Since this wire is 20-22 gauge, it carries very little current. So, you could remote the switch almost anywhere, hidden under the dash, and create a very simple anti-theft system.
