Solution for Broken Cluster Tabs Feedback Needed

Anyone interested in a permanent solution for those problematic fragile and brittle E30 cluster tabs? I am currently working on a solution that will permanently replace them (if broken)and is easy for the DIY. Trying to gauge interest, please post if you would by a set for $29 shipped on a GB.

I am still working on the door seals don’t worry guys.

Working on that right now but my design partner is working with abs to make it readily bondable. You will remove what’s left of your old tabs with a razor blade, index the part off the lens to cluster attachment and put two dabs of plastic weld epoxy and two screws in place. It should be very permanent when done, and nearly imperceptible from the outside. Gone will be the days of disposing of a cluster or even opening a cluster to make repairs this repair will be completely accomplished with a sealed cluster.

We went back to the drawing board to make them even more user friendly. Going to get pics out after Christmas.

I'm about to pull my cluster to investigate my inactive speedo, odo, and economy gauge.

Any tips to NOT break shit?

Make sure you press down on both tabs at the same time as you are pulling it out. One of my tabs slipped out of my finger and came down while I was pulling it out, that plastic is pretty damn thin and fragile.
