Car electricals

Hi everyone,

I've noticed that the lights (headlight/instrument panels, etc) aren't very bright. I understand that our cars are 20+ years old & its electrical isn't what it use to be.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this? should I go to a car electronics specialist & have it checked & reconditioned?

alternator could be failing, buy a rebuild, or try replacing the voltage regulator yourself.

You may also try cleaning the bulbs or replacing them too. im sure they are not as bright as they used to be. They can acquire soot and dust on them.
