I'm trying to do as much research as possible on SR20 swaps before biting the bullet and jumping into a new project. It seems that a lot of people are doing these swaps, but I'm not sure if many completed ones are driving around. Does anyone know performance figures for SR- swapped E30's? Any 0-60 or 1/4 miles times? Dynos?

There are a few types of SR20DET engines so it depends which one u're getting. latest would be from the S15 Silvia with the black cam cover. Apparently it has variable valve timing. this shud give u about 220hp stock... but don't quote me, I read it somewhere sometime back.
but why mix it all up??? there'll be quite some customisation and modification to be done.. the propeller shaft, the gearshift.bla bla bla...BMWClub Malaysia
