Advice on placing your E30 on jackstands...

    I find jacking up from the rear diff. then move to the front subframe rails. I find as I jack up one side of the subframe rail, the car tips over so its only sitting on one rear jackstand and the jack. Pretty scary!! I have yet to find a convenient way to put the whole car on stands.

    Wishing for the day I have a lift.

      I like doing the opposite as the post above. I like my Ebrake and being in gear to hold my car still as I'm jacking up the fronts. Drivers side first, passenger second, then rear diff to lift up the whole ass end nice and level.
