Man - sorry to see. Your e30 looks like a very normal "car" in the eyes of a normie so hopefully they took it because they needed a ride somewhere. It'll turn up!

Burlingame is nice town, sorry to hear you had to endure this.

            280s, 300s & 240s were a hot car back then.

Were any of their 2002s stolen?

Heard nothing but sketch about that place...

My current 325e was owned by them at one point and it miraculously became a 325i (in badge only) with faked paperwork and all... duped the PO who purchased it from them.

Here's hoping you get your car back.

Sorry to hear it. I hope it turns up, and not completely gutted. The peninsula has been seeing a lot of thefts of "fun" cars like ours recently...my coworker is heavy into the Miata scene, and a LOT of those have been getting lifted and turning up gutted in south San Jose.

That sounds incredibly unlikely. Like impossibly unlikely. It was probably the PO who pulled that nonsense.

Good news to the rest of the community, she got her car back!!! Thanks for all the help!

Nope. I've got the paper trail.

Regardless stoked the car was returned to the rightful owner.

As far as deterrents, you can maybe get a quick release steering wheel hub although that requires an after market wheel, and I just saw on ebay a factory option (I think) factory shift lock still in the box. If you search "BMW E30 rare parts". Can't steal a car if you can't drive it, unless of course it's stolen with a wrecker!

...None the less good to know it was recovered!
