Just for simplicity and reliability right now, I just want to get the car driving. I'm likely to switch to a different system if it burns oil.

This interior is from the calypso car. I've never seen a painted interior turn out even half as good as factory leather.

The factory pcv/ccv system is actually quite good for OBD2 vehicles. Just more annoying to maintain than just thowing in a catch can.

I know the cyclone seperator can struggle in very cold climates but other than that what should I replace/watch out for?

The valve can collapse and result in pulling too much suction through the dipstick drain and pull oil up through your engine.
          ...ask me how i know....

Sorted out the M50 manifold swap, can't figure out where the manifold supports attach though:

Been a while and a lot of work has been done! Here's a video of it running. The vanos is clicking so that's on the list of things to fix.

              More updates coming soon :)

Sometimes your browser won't display it, it's a security thingy. I added a link for you.

Here are some photos of the amazing exhaust Adam fabricated for me. We used raceland headers straight to a magnaflow muffler with mbrp tips, couldn't be happier with the sound and quality :)

Been busy with a couple part outs but I've been just enjoying driving the car for the most part!

Refreshed the faded grey rear parcel tray and painted the speakers black.

                          Before:

                          Getting the details right:

                          After: (better photo coming soon)

Also planning to refresh and make the rear subframe fully adjustable in the near future, had some fun burning out the old bushings:

Replaced emblems. Definitely up there with a clutch stop for best bang for your buck in my opinion..

I ordered some spares so if you're near seattle and are interested in buying a couple let me know. I also have the grommets needed for an tight installation

Decided to swap driveshafts from the E36 328i one to an 87 325e one without the bulge but still the large guibo, should allow a longer short shifter without rubbing. Pictures on the way..

Replaced the scored plastic shift selector rod with one with the brass jointed one one the right, while the driveshaft and exhaust were out.

Car felt a little low on low end power so I decided to start rebuilding the VANOS using the beisan systems kit:

O rings have definitely looked rounder and healthier...
