My 91' 318IS came with a CD changer in the trunk. How would I verify if it's an OEM piece? It's a BMW unit with CDX-M91 part number. The 2 wires leading up to it do not look factory however.

Given that you have a 91, it's probably a "factory" cd changer accessory installed by the dealer."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

Agree post pics. So you have the KE83ZBM Pioneer 4 channel head unit with the mode switch? Pretty sure that changer is for pioneer only
