My first e30 was the same color. I gave that car hell b/c of the color!! I hated it, I thought it was a disgusting turd on wheels!! I know I was stupid but giving that car a daily beating and yearly oil change made me love it more and more. My first e30 really proved what a tremendous beating these little cars can take, no seriously I was trying to kill it most of the time the damn thing would not die!!. HAHAHA, So much fun was had and it was so wrong, I guess it was the Jesus of my e30s the rest have yet to be abused/neglected/ragged on at all in comparison. I miss that ugly little bastard to bad I didn't know what I had back then. I always planned to have another beater e30 but just can't bring my self to do those horrible acts ever again. .guess thats why god made RX-7s my second love..spinning doritos are just as tuff.

                More pics!

ohhh man you gotta start a thread after its painted and re-assembled. Is it genuine or replica?

And how did you get the black bare by the window off? Hard to tell what Im talking about but when you open the door its the black plastic bar farthest away from the trim, its a vertical bar right above the door handle. I used forever black on it a long time ago and it made it look like shit and I want to repaint them but I don't know how to take them off

My first BMW ever - long gone 12 years ago. '86 325 (no e) automatic! Slow - but introduced me to the world of BMWs. Eventually it got M3 springs and shocks to lower it some, and some 15" 5 spoke rims that I cannot even think of what brand they were.
