They're 16x8 with a 20ET offset all around as far as I know. I'm not really knowledgeable with wheels, lol. Most likely going to go to the tire shop I got the tires from and they can help me get the wheels clearing fine with some thinner tires. I'm thinking I wouldn't have as much rub if I ran 205/50/r16. I don't want any stretch or anything.

Frenched the highs today and replaced the spark plugs. Today was finally a day I could drop the top for a bit with the brief sunshine.

Just sourced myself a set of late model vert tail lights to replace the old, nasty faded and painted ones I have on already. Should give the booty a nicer look. Currently saving up for a nice set of basketweaves that I intend on getting painted a nice gunmetal grey and then getting a polished lip. Wanna keep her /mostly/ stock looking with a bit of a modern touch.

I installed the tails today and put the Bavarian crest on the grille! I even polished all my lights so good that I can see my reflection in them. Tell me what you guys think!

I put it up in the window so the cops don't give me much trouble. I've got my state license plate in the trunk and a story lined up just in case they get upset about it. As far as I know, they won't pull you over for the front plate, but if they pull you over for something else, they can add it to your ticket.

So, I've found out that my rear passenger footwell was damp, and peeled the carpets back. We've been having on and off rainstorms, and I discovered some standing water in the well under the carpet and soaked into the foam.

I've peeled the carpet off, used a hair dryer to dry off the carpet and soaked up all the standing water with a terry cloth towel. I didn't see any water in my trunk, or my trunk carpets, so the trunk seal was out of the question.

Did a little digging around the engine compartment and found my elephant trunk clogged up with crap. Last thing I can think of is taking of the passenger door card and see if a seal went rotten and let water in my interior.

Nice build, I didn't see your thread before, but it looks like a really clean car. I'd be down to cruise sometime. You should bring it out to the bmw burger night at sonic on austin bluffs/ barnes this thursday at 6pm. Should be a great turnout.

Whats that switch to the left of the hazard button?

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

Those would be the automatic top switches. I'm not sure what the the empty panel is next to them, but I'll just have to get a dead plate to cover it up. It's been since converted to a manual top.

And unfortunately, I won't be able to attend that this Thursday. She'll be getting her timing belt changed and her cooling system freshened up.

EDIT: Bummer. I guess I'll have to wait until July for the next burger night at Jamboree. My girl's engine needs to be butter smooth anyway. I've gotten a lot done these past months.

Hey, if your front passenger foot well isn't wet it's not the elephant trunk. I had the same problem. Cleaned out the trunk still water. My jack slipped off the frame rail and pushed in a front body plug. Got water again so I fixed that. Then got water again after I thought it was all good.

Turned out to be the rear floor plug. Its impossible to tell visibily because there is a rubber cover over it. My was bent a little so I popped it out and put seam sealer on it and undercoating.

Could be that just a thought.
