Yeah it generally doesn't matter which terminal on the sensor gets which wire unless you're talking about maybe a 3 wire TPS, which is specific in which wire goes where and that can be found in the ETM. I still tend to wire all sensors pin for pin as they are in the wiring diagrams for easier troubleshooting.
