    Seat shocks

    Hi all

I am re trimming my seats and need new seat shocks. Are they interchangeable? I mean sport and non sport seats share the same parts? If I have 1991 e30 with sport seats, what would be the right part numbers? Many thanks all!

    Cheers

There are 3 shocks per seat for comfort seats and 4 per seat for sport seats. The physical shape is the same, but the gas pressures may be different. You can compare part numbers at realoem.com. R3v member jeffnhiscars sells German aftermarket shock sets for sport and comfort seats. I have them on the comfort seats in my Touring and they work just like OEM.

Did someone mention my name :)

The seat back shocks are 350N and the bottoms are 450N and Cory is correct re sport seats. To do both seats you need 8 total and they are on sale at the moment for $129 including new push nuts. I'd have to get a shipping quote for you if you are interested
