First of all, pointing out someone else's deficiencies does not prove how smart you are. Someone else being an idiot doesn't reduce the chances that you're defective. You bumped a thread that's a year old to make fun of someone else, when there's a thread of your very own where you can go for heaps of abuse.

Second of all, it doesn't cost $7,000 to do an s52 swap on an e30. Yes, the DOHC thread can be intimidating, I can hardly blame the OP for being new and not understanding some of the contradictory info, because retards like you, Tony, post bad information, which then has to be waded through like 18 inches of bullshit. If it were a simple matter of "This is what needs to be done" there would be no reason to even have a forum. Guys like you always have something stupid to chime in which is incorrect or misleading, which only goes to show what you're truly worth: nothing.

Third, these days you should be able to pick up an m/s5x engine swapped e30 for 7k, in decent shape. Hell, I've got an m52tu sitting on a shelf and an e30, if anyone's got 7k I'll make a Reece's mashup for you.

Fourth, for insurance your best bet would likely be an "Agreed Value" policy, where your insurance company takes into account all the modifications that are done, and writes a policy accordingly. Most insurance companies don't do this, but there are specialists and they're affordable.


Fifth, the fact that you even post a link to Video Professor... you DO know that shit's all a scam right? He only surpasses you in douche magnitude because he does it intentionally. Why don't you search for results on that, you stupid fuck?

On the other hand I already did this swap when I was 17 and maybe ask 4 questions. Learn to use the search button please. It will really help you out.
