    Check out the original Mitsubishi Montero/Pajero (also sold as a Dodge Raider in the USA).





    Basically a mini Land Cruiser. If you can find one, it's a great little 4x4 tank. They came in I4 and V6 configurations.

          S10s are alittle small. I'd go with a 92-96 Dodge Dakota.

              Audi 4000 Quattro will be my next winter beater. Lockable diffs are a really great feature.

                    I have an 88 Cherokee and 97 Grand Cherokee....

                    Extremely reliable and those straight 6, 4.0 liters keep going.
