    Clutch pedal acting funny suddenly..

    Hi,
Yesterday night my clutch pedal started to act funny on me, when i push on the pedal it kinda wants to stay down there for some milliseconds and then it pulls up as normal with its normal rebound rate. If i push it all the way to the clutch disengagement point it does it, if i dont push it all the way to its point of disengagement it acts normal but i cant engage gears of course.*
Its like at some point of the travel of the pedal it gets stuck for an instance.

P.S: when i wake up in the morning since the clutch change (2 weeks ago) my clutch pedal is kinda pushed down like 2 inches lower than the brake pedal, i grab it with my hand to its position and then it stays there.

Master, slave, pipe and hose are 6 months old only by the way.
I was told that probably the pressure plate is faulty or the system has air in it.*

    Any thoughts?
I am starting to get kinda crazy, and people have asked me why am i speaking alone... True

It sounds like it may be your master and/or slave cylinder.

Could be the throwout bearing sticking on the shaft as well. If you cannot verify a hydraulic issue I would pull the trans down to be sure the pressure plate/throwout bearing are functioning correctly.

Did you bleed the slave correctly?

          Externally, being the correct way....

My clutch pedal sometimes doesnt stop all the way to the top like it should, i can move the pedal up and down about half an inch with out it actually activating the clutch so to speak. Like if its all the way up, i can push it down half an inch before it starts to function correctly. Maybe we have a similar issue??

^^ maybe, but my problem is kinda clearing, i went ahead and removed my clutch stop so i can rebleed the system but from the first full pedal push i heard a loud click noise like if something broke, the pedal stayed down for good and luquid poured from under the car. The pedal is fully dry and so the master and slave. The liquid is pouring from the right side of the tranny ( passenger side) it was unclear from where exactly as the car was still on the floor, but it deffinetly was from the right side of tranny. I fo know that the bell housing has a tiny crack/ hole on that side, that led me into thinking that either the fork took a shit and caused the slave rod to break and leak or it was the slave itself that broke..

Did you bleed the slave on level ground? as in did you jack up one end to get at the slave...
If you did that means you could have sucked in air while bleeding the system from the fluid reservoir.

If I were you I would remove the slave and see if the piston and shaft are working correctly. I had one in my old eta that broke off the internal part and moved over to the side. Did the same thing yours is doing right now. I just replaced it and all was good. I believe they are still under 30 bucks from Blunttech.

^^^ thanks, that was my first guess, the slave was internally damaged and its leaking from inside and escaping from the hole in the bell housing, i hope the fork didnt break, is that common? Thats a fucking hard metal part. I hope its only the slave. I couldnt bleed anything because i was still testing the pedal issue, i didnt want to go through the hassle of lifting the car and bleed before i discard that the problem was with the pedal itself or something. So the car was still on the ground when i fully deppressed the clutch pedal and heard a loud click/snap.

The fluid leaking from the bell housing was almost certainly from the slave cylinder. My guess is that the rod popped out of the slave cylinder, which would mean a problem with the clutch or fork. Meaning that the transmission is going to have to come out to see what is going on.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Sorry for not replying to this thread, i fixed the problem like 25 days ago. It was the slave cylinder that got damaged somehow. The rod was out of place, its been working normal since.
