Weird that nobody ever said anything about this post.

this would have been well before my time but for a guy like blunt to have such a strong opinion, the guy really must have been a doucher.

yeah, he was definitely a top notch douche. At least he never ripped anyone off? (that we know of).

Isn't that the same thing? Am I using robes incorrectly?

Someone should sit down and write the definitive history of the E30 forums.

                              - 1994 Join BMW CCA so you can connect with other BMW enthusiasts and become pen pals, possibly exchanging emails if they had computer/internet. Meet fellow enthusiasts in person at the monthly club meetings and functions. Pay BMW CCA extra money to join E30 special interest groups like the E30 M3 SIG.

1994 - 1998. Join and sift through tedious internet email lists called "Digests" for Q and A. Hoping you find a question or answer that pertains to you.

1998 - 2003 email lists become so large, they are flooding email boxes with hundreds of emails a day so you finally just delete them all and leave the list to join a much better web based platform, which are the forums. BMW E30 Network (BEN), Bimmer.org, DTM power, bimmerforums were some of the earlier ones I remember being a part of.

                              2003 - Forums improved and forums like E30sport, R3vlimited, E30 tech, S14.net, E30zone take off.

2015 or so with improvements in smart phones and internet speeds we started seeing more E30 group activities on Facebook, Instagram, etc. which may have slowed down forum activity but not likely to replace the forums just yet.

2018 Facebook option degrades into stance boiz showing off their drift missiles and a multitude of posts about which oil to use or best 185 tires to stretch on 9inch wheels.
