Super clean find. Interior looks like it was just purchased new. Haven’t seen cloth that nice in a long time. Also a trick I have used to upgrade the headlights is just buy the inner and outer from a e30,32,& 34 all use the same ellipsoid light lenses housing. You can find ones with broken tabs for next to nothing on eBay. After that just a little trimming of the plastic and they will set into the sealed beams buckets. It’s a lot cheaper than buying a set.
Great car just passing on some of the tricks I picked up over the past 25 years. Good luck with it, and May it bring you nothing but joy.

The 318i came without fog lights. I reached out to forum member (td325ic) who sells refurbished fog lights for $150 a set. They came in yesterday, and I installed them today!

They other day I washed and clayed the car. This morning I applied Meguiars #7 to feed oils back in the single stage paint. I also replaced all accessory belts with Gates brand belts. The contitech belts on the car were showing cracks and looked dry. I also removed the BMW mud flaps the car came with.

Wiped the car down, taped the trim and letting the car soak with another layer of Meguiar's #7. I will do this a few more times before I cut, polish, seal and wax the paint.

                        For cleaning or for good?

If, for good, why? (Just Curious)

This 318i came with an open 4.10 small case diff. This morning I picked up a small case 3.64 LSD. This diff came out of an early model 318i. Plans are to clean, paint, reseal, fresh fluid and install. Will be nice to cruise on the hwy with this ratio.
