Essentially, is the ZF320 trans shaft the same diameter as the Getrag 260? I'm trying to fit it but it doesn't seem to go on all the way by hand. I don't want to force it. Thanks.

Just to update...the E30 and E36 DS both have the same PN for the guide bushing so it's a direct fit on the ZF320 provided the shaft is a large flange 96mm BCD like the E30 M3 and E36.
