    SOLD - 91 BMW Black 5 speed 325i w/ S52 Swap PNW

    SOLD.

    Price: 9k obo
    Located: Seattle, WA

Trade: E46 Manual Coupe or something interesting

My 318is slicktop is finally running well enough that it is time to part ways with my S52 swapped 91 325i. It is currently Metallic Black, but was originally Grey, looks good from 5 feet. The odometer show just under 200k miles, but not sure how long the odometer was broken before I fixed it.

The first group of pictures are current and show the interior swap I did back in May. I've decided to keep the wheels from the earlier pictures to help lower the price. I’ve also replaced the center console with one that is much better shape.

The previous owner did the swap:
    • 99 M3 S52 engine 65k
    • 99 M3 ZF 5 Speed trans 65k
    • 99 M3 steering rack 65k
    • 98 Z3 3.15 lsd diff 103k
    • New H&R OE springs
    • New Bilstein Touring strut inserts and rear shocks
    • Red26 Sump Protector
    • New ATE brake booster
    • New spal 16” fan

    I fixed/added:
    • Working A/C including brand new Zionsville hoses, new drier, expansion valve, and R134a conversion kit.
    • Working Cruise Control (tricky for an ODBII engine in an ODBI car)
    • New Headunit: Kenwood KMM-BT322U
    • Fresh Rotors and Pads
    • Keyless Entry
    • Interior color change, rear shelf freshly dyed black, door cards and kick panels swapped
    • 4 x very nice basketweaves w/ caps
    • Everything in the instrument cluster works except the gas gauge (something is wrong with the sender). New Garagistic odometer gears, cleaned up temp gauges and replaced bulbs.
    • New LCA, sway bar links and bushings, Condor Treehouse LCA mounts.
    • Antenna delete plug, but I can include the old power antenna if you want.
    • Replaced power steering reservoir and hose to pump.
    • Replaced aux fan temp switch.
    • Replaced lower radiator hose to stop touching AC compressor.
    • Replaced lower frame on driver side seat.

    Bad:
    • Rust in rocker panels and a hole in driver’s footwell and a hole in the driver’s side tool well in the trunk.

    Could be good:
    • I'll include a POR-15 Kit to seal up rust and hole in the floor.
    • Driver's side kickpanel is still tan, but i have a black one that needs to be cut to fit in an airbag car
    • I have an uncut dark carpet that could be swapped in for the tan carpet, haven’t because I don’t want to cut it. $500 extra . If I was going to keep it at this point I'd probably just dye it like the parcel shelf to avoid removing the dash and heater box to do the carpet swap properly.

Interested but depends greatly on the rust as it's a deal breaker for me. Any pictures of the rust areas? Thanks

Sorry, for whatever reason I wasn't notified of your comments. I'll get some pictures of the rust soon. Also swapped the wheels (although the others are still available if you'd prefer those) and decided to make the carpet extra to bring the price down.
