            been making an airbox to seal off the throttles

            some 50mm extruded polysyrene sheets

            i laminated the sheets to build them up to about 250mm deep but you can get the stuff that thick





            some woven glass twill and epoxy resin still building up enough layers. no pics of mould but you get the idea. i did test fit the foam mould and scultured it to fit in but obviously could not see how the trumpets fit inside. it clears the hood and booster





            a laser cut aluminium plate that will be incorporated into the plenum sandwiched between the adapters and trumpets



            hope the darn thing fits......it will need a removable lid to bolt the trumpets inside. i might need to get some slightly curved extensions for number 1 and 2 to curved them down ever so slightly get them inside

            i need to make an oven to post cure the epoxy at 80C for 8hrs to be able to handle the temps

                    still need to build up some top coats of epoxy and cut it back smooth to get rid of the textured finish
