thats just the point it will cost you 10k in legal fees to get your 4k in cash and your 2k dollar 1988 beater BMW back. So in the name of economics Vs principal people let it go rather than throwing more good money after bad

Yeah sorry. Sad that the video I posted got taken down, thanks for re-posting.
The more I read into the things our law enforcement can get away with these days, the more I get worried about the country we live in. Its not even a conspiracy or anything, its just factual. If law enforcement wants to fuck you, they can and they will and unless you are rich, you are not going to be able to fight it. Its kind of scary and kind of sad.
You could make the argument that if your not doing anything illegal, you have nothing to worry about. Well in this case many of these people who have thousands of dollars stolen from them were doing nothing more than driving along minding their own business and doing nothing illegal. Its fucked.

Silly laws are silly. Problem is no one is challenging the Civil Forfeiture laws, you gotta lawyer up basically if it happens to you, constitutional rights dont matter anymore.
Civil Forfeiture has been challenged a LOT, but it has a long history... none of that history makes any sense, but it's a lot of judicial precedent to overcome.

always thoroughly enjoy what he has to say. hopefully with more knowledge about this out there, there'll be more confrontations with the police to break away their backbone for asking for such shit.

This reminds me of the statist double think "Police are all evil and repress minorities" "If there were no police who would keep us safe?" Typical shit man.

Yeah its not getting any better.
