Yeah... If I put it back together in time!

Think yours will be ready by the 25th? Love the lift too!

I hope its ready! I don't really want to run the M5 since it needs tires. Thanks, the lift is a huge help! The only problem is the saddle height is kinda tall since its a 10,000 pound lift. It makes putting my low M5 and my dad's E92 up in the air a pain. I wanted something I could use for bimmers and the family's diesel trucks.

My father is a retired Equine Veterinarian. I installed a lift in his Vet Clinic in one of the garage bays. The ceiling height is about 15 foot If I remember correctly. For bimmers you can lift them high enough to stand under. With my truck you can get it high enough to sit on a rolling stool and work under it. You could technically push a car into the ceiling if you wanted, but I have a power cut off switch that I flip when I put the car in the air so it can't get lifted anymore. It works pretty well, and now his vet clinic can fix horses and cars!

But its not at my house, it's about 10 minutes away from my house. I have an old barn that needs a roof, then I might put a lift in there or move this one.

Are you doing the timing belt soon? Would like to come by and watch how it is being done if possible.

You can watch, but there won't be any timing belts. This is a motor swap build. There is no timing belt on the M52.

I've never done a timing belt on an M20, but if its anything like other cars I've done timing belts and chains on it isn't too hard. You just have to make sure you know how to time the engine and have the tools to pull the timing cover. Depending on the car it can also be a pain in the ass to work on the front.

                  Timing Chain>Timing Belt

You know I just bought a beautiful car for my son. I’ll gift it that on his 20th birthday. Now I am finding a good Port Macquarie Driving School where he can get professional driving lessons. I want a reputed school that can help him in getting the license in very first attempt. Do you have any recommendations?

                      Reviving my build.
It's been a while since I've worked on my build. Long story short, I bought a house and finances changed. I'm back to finishing up my build this summer and I will update the thread with progress.

This week the cylinder head went in for a valve job, guides and seals. I may also upgrade springs and do cams.
