    Cross country trip.

Just drove my daughter's '92 cab from CT to Napa. Total surprise for her. I can't believe how perfect of a car the E30 is for a trip like that. The seats, the mileage, the cruising at 85 mph all day, sublime. This is why we love our cars.

Sweet ride! I've done two long-ish trips. One was the first time I drove an E30, bought one in NYC and drove it to Chicago. The last one was from Tucson to San Diego. Both cars were great partners. On the NYC drive I was sure to find some nice back roads in NY and some more in Ohio. Took longer but it was so much fun. Barely even listened to the radio.

Love it, great car, great trip. Indeed, these little E30s are special.

If you want the ultimate "road trip" car, get a 325es with stick.
Astounding fuel economy with perfect torque!
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

I loved my 325es for commuting. I was commuting 60 miles a day on highway and that car just cruises.

          Beautiful cabrio!

The road. I did 1000 miles per day and was unsure if my mind would start wandering.

Yes, actually just turned 90,000. My Daughter bought this from a board member here 3 years ago in TN with 70,000. Flew down from CT and drove it home. She's just finishing college now so I'm sure she will be driving it much more.

1000 in a day is a lot. Did the car get a lot of attention during the drive? its a nice vert

Thank you. Lots of head turning and thumbs up. It's perfect for CA. I just got the electric top working perfectly for her.

Nice! 1,000 miles in one day is a little kooky - I did it from Washington, D.C. to Memhpis, TN last summer.

It was part of a bigger road trip that I did in my E30:

                            Chicago
                            Ann Arbor
                            Toronto
                            Montreal
                            Vermont
                            Boston
