Problem after m42 swap from e36. Help guys! :(

Hello guys, i did an m42 swap from an e36 1994. I made the x20 to c101 plug and tried to switch the ignition key to position 2, without cranking the engine(waiting for the oil to arrive). All the neccesary lights on the dash lighted up and that i think means that there is signal from the ECU. So i got out and moved the actual plug because it was just staying on top of the engine and i thing something there went wrong.. From then, when i try to move the key to position 2 only the light for the brake pads and the oil service are lighting up.. Can someone help me? i tried to crank the enging only for a second to see if it would crank, but no it does not... Is there a chance of me frying up the ECU? I am so sad really, i need the car for the next week and i cannot even fire it up...

What month specifically? EWS picked up in 1994. It could be a wire snip, it could be a chip is necessary. I think its the former.

    Here's a thread on it:
