    M20 2.7 with e36 getrag 250 transmission fitment issue

Hey I'm finishing up on my 2.7 build. Eta block, pistons, rods, and crank. I head and ecu. I pulled the getrag 260 and put it in my 88 325is, and can't find any other locally. I can get e36 parts any time and got a gretrag 250 for cheap. I still have the eta dual mass flywheel on there and the transmission will not stab on there. It feels like it gets to the pilot bearing and just starts but won't go in, I can turn the output flange and it doesn't engage the clutch disc yet?
Is the clutch disc a smaller size or maybe the pilot bearing?
Do I need a single mass flywheel and matching disc?

If anybody ever does this or any tranny swap pilot bearing must match transmission.

    E30 pilot bearing id: 0.45"
    E36 pilot bearing id: 0.45"
    E46 pilot bearing id: 0.587"

I just guess I must of pulled a e46 trans all those months ago. Pilot bearing in and trans fit in like a glove

What did you use for the driveshaft, I'm having a really hard time finding another getrag 260 and would like to try out the e36 trans.
