Cantaloupe Radio Bluetooth Retrofit Kits for the CM5908 radio

Ok, 48 of these kits are ready to ship! To get in line for one, post a reply indicating you'd like to purchase a kit.

    What is it?
A plug-n-play kit that integrates Bluetooth streaming, phone calls, and voice assistance into the factory BMW CM5908 "slider" radio for period looks with modern tech. These kits are brand new, designed and manufactured by my company, Cantaloupe Radio. Check out more product details, installation procedure, and demo here. Note that although the demo video says otherwise, these are being sold ONLY for the CM5908 radio (see faceplate pic below if you don't know which is the CM5908) There has been a thread following my development of these over the last year here.

    How this will go down:
    - This is a r3vlimited-exclusive sale before these become available to the general public, hence the format
    - When you reserve a unit by posting here, I'll PM you a link within a few hours where you can complete checkout
    - Any units that are not claimed and paid for by Monday morning (3/19) will become available publicly
    - Limit 1 kit per person
    - US-based orders only for now. Shipping will be via USPS First Class mail
    - Optional installation service and the necessary 5-sided radio removal tool are also available on the website. Add them to your cart if you need them. If you purchase installation service, you'll receive mailing instructions via email after checkout.

    Price: $185 + shipping
    Optional installation service: $65

I might be in for one or more depending on how many radios we have floating around.

Any chance you'd be able to sell pre configured radios ready to go?
Don't have one to retro fit it into

Would be in for one without a doubt if that could work

And just to be sure, the cassette function is lost when this is retrofitted correct?
