FS: Rear Subframe, and 325iX rear differential

I've got a rear subframe and rear differential up for sale. I've been holding onto them for spares but I need the space more than the peace of mind. They were pulled from the same 1988 325ix manual.

Rear Subframe - 100.00 obo - I planned on refreshing this subframe so eventually I could just swap it in over a weekend instead of having my car down for longer then necessary.

    SOLD!!!

I'm guessing because it came out of an iX, there's a good chance it's a Viscous LSD.

          It's most likely a 3.91 lsd.

Should be a V3.91 if manual, V4.10 if automagic.

I would be willing to ship but it'd be on your dime, but before going through the trouble of boxing it up and getting a shipping quote i'd want to know if you're serious about wanting it!

                    Thanks!!!

Garagistic sent me an email saying they offer $150 in store credit for e30 subframes. Might check that out.

^ Yeah they got in touch and I considered it but at this point the subframe is sold!

Appleseason, you have PM. The ratio and type of differential was covered in the posts above.

I just shipped an e34 LSD. I also have received a rebuilt trans in similar fashion. Do this:

Use a rubbermade tough tote type box. I used a Husky brand one from home depot. It was $9.

Visit your local membership store, score some THICK cardboard. Fold it overany times, very light, super strong. Pack with that.

I put some 1x dimensional lumber to brace the bottom but it was likely overkill.

123 pounds all in. MD to NC for $122.
