So I've done a bit of searching but havent quite found the answers I've been looking for. I've got a 90 325is and I'd like a bit more power. I'm thinking of swapping the I head onto an E block. My questions are:
Since the motor I found is not a S-ETA motor (I dont think) I'm under the impression that I need to get new pistons, if so, can someone point me in the right direction as to what pistons I need?
What kind of difference can I expect to feel after the swap, and will it change my redline?
What else should I look at/replace while I've got the two motors out? (I'm new at engine internals, I'll be learning as I go)
Anything I should do to the I head while its off the car?
Lastly, is this the right block I need (I feel like a newb for having to ask that)? http://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/pts/1384310779.html
