    Discount Tire Process

Okay so this may or may not be a stupid question, but I need some guidance.

I'm about to pull the trigger on a set of YOKOHAMA S DRIVE 205 /55 R15 to fit on my brand new Ronal LS wheels.

Discount Tire seems to be my best bet. Tires are $95 each plus $80 bucks for mount and balance. So just over $500 total.

I've never dealt with Discount Tire, nor have I had to put new tires on a new set of wheels and have them mounted.

Should I order them on their website or call them? Does it matter?

Just want to make sure I'm approaching this the best and cheapest way.

    Thanks!

i just got some tires for my 87 325i vert from discount tire. I like them and they treated the car like fine china. I got a lot of oohs and aaahs from them also and about a 100 questions.

too bad the fuel pumps failed on the way home, but had nothing to with discount tire. I am going to put new tires on my 2002 kia and 92 sonoma from there also. prices seem quite fair.

It does not matter if you order from website or in store, but you may save time just ordering online.

Why S.Drives? The Conti ExtremeContact Sport is a better tire for the same price and similar treadwear (340 vs. 300).

I've had good luck with Discount Tire & Tire Rack both. The only advice I can give you on price is that you should wait until a holiday to order if you can, they usually have a sale. Last year I got my 205/50R15 Coniti ECS tires for like $350 mounted and balanced after rebate.

I'd wait until the end of the month if you can, someone will probably have a Memorial Day sale.

^ Good advice on waiting for a sale. They do a $100 off $400+ sale at least a couple of times a year, and other rebates and promos all the time on their eBay store.

I'll add that the brick & mortar stores will price match the eBay store, so at the very least you can save the taxes (unless you live in AZ).

I've bought numerous sets from Discount and miss that they are not around Tampa. I always ask for a deal and usually get something they don't advertise.
