Group Buy: (SoCal) One Day Paint Re Spray *PICS*

Ok here's the deal, let's see who's possibly up for this?
I'm working on getting the LOWEST possible price to have my car re painted from One Day Paint in Laguna Niguel. My buddy runs this shop and I think he would be totally into doing a Group Price kind of offer on some light body work and a full re spray if I get him a decent number of cars lined up to do the same.
Just curious, before I ask him, who out there in the LA,OC,RS and even the SD area is seriously thinking about getting their car re sprayed sometime real soon?
Right now my M3 for a full re spray in clear coat,light body work, all shadowline and B Pillar painted Satin Black was estimated at $1,400. I think I can get it even lower for myself an those who sign up or at least I hope.
He has painted two of my cars in the past already, my Mini and old Cadillac and both cars came out looking great!

Everything I mentioned above and comes with Sherwin Williams Paint
2 stage base coat with clear coat
Color sand and buff
5 warranty
$1,400

Super stoked on how it all came out! Goes back to have just the rear fin,mirrors and front bumper get put on to get buffed out.
Again, super happy with it, it came out great!

Just spoke to my buddy at One Day and he said $1,300
Everything I mentioned above plus color sand and buff
$1,300 :)

If it were anyone else I'd be lawling @ that price ,but Archie seems to have excellent connections and is more anal than I am. Give some details arch....2 stage? DuPont, ppg? Warranty?

holy shit thats incredibly ridiculously cheap.

from personal experiance s/w has been very low quality, there is a shop a block down that shoots s/w and we always get their customers because it ends up peeling over time.
if you are getting a 5 year warranty that is a good peace of mind tho

could also be the painter and how it was prept for painting?

My friend has some good guys at his place right now he said. The painter he just took from his last body shop he managed so I feel good about this.
Plus he did my mini and my Cadillac and they both turned out great and that was when he didnt have the good painter.
