full clamp at the return or only a bit? i think blocking isn't good..
i don't have checked it yet, but it's a on my list now..thanks!
So I used locking pliers (vise grips) and didn't tighten them to close all the way but put a rag in the teeth not to score the lines and you want it to not be tight on the line and just start where it barely hangs on the line try it, tighten a turn if it doesn't work, try again and repeat. You don't want to block it but you want there to be pressure. I wish my alpine white bay looked that good after just some clean up.
thanks i'll try it as soon as i can.
about my bay..8 years without no use in a garage, 4 years with maybe only 300km in my house..means 12 years...near the half of his life close to stopped is the answer.
with starter fluid, the engine starts and die..seems like fuel issue but i know i have fuel and i've see the injectors spraying..and the spark plugs are wet.
When I looked it up it said cps should be 540 ohms not 640. I've been told this sensor can give you issues like a no start condition. No guarantee there though could also be an ecu issue. I also read you should never use starter fluid on a fuel injected engine...
It's 540 +/- I'm not sure how much. I would try to use a different ecu if you can get your hands on one just to try. Have you gone to fresh metal on your grounds?
well, good news!
i have try the ecu (ews deleted) on a differente car, a 323 e36 and the ecu runs great.
i have change the fuel to fresh fuel and change my crank sensor..and the cars starts at the thrid time!!
but a fuel line explode..literally..
now i don't know (until i put another fuel line) wich is the reason..the fresh new fuel or the crank sensor..i say these because the "new" crank sensor is an old and ugly sensor i have found in a box...
the next week with stronger fuel lines i will be able to come with the answer!
thanks to all!!

I live in Fuengirola, Malaga not to far away from Jerez. Cool project, that car is going to be fun. Hope that the starting, exploding fuel hose isues are done. Good luck with the rest of it. How are you going to get it thorug the ITV, by the way ?
